Very cool place to stop by for when there is a musical event or if you're taking a stroll in the park. It's a nice place to stop by in Tempe to see all the Sister City Monuments and the Memorial. The surrounding hills isolate it from anyone making it very quiet with little to no people there. Great place overall!

Honestly, this place was a lifesaver. As we all know the cities of Tempe and Mesa dislike the homeless population and so make it very difficult to charge a phone in an emergency or even use a public restroom. Well I found myself stranded at Kiwanis one day with a phone that was dead and after unsuccessfully trying like 10 plugs I came upon this monument and thank whoever's above that there were like 5 outlets, all of which worked. The statues that run along the path to the monument tell a cool story as well. So, I was able to charge my phone and even meet some interesting people who, you guessed it, were homeless. Homeless people deserve respect as much as the next person and I've found that many of them are the most kind hearted souls who would give you the last if what they had if they thought it would help. It's more than I can say for about 85% of the people I've met since moving here.

I really enjoy coming here each year for a music event. Super cool! I absolutely love how there is a hill that enclosed the stage - makes it difficult for children to wonder to the street on the other side. Pretty children safe place with near by bathrooms and playgrounds if kids need some exercise.

The amplitheater does not get used much. But it's kept tidy. And it's kept away from the park which prevents being noisy. It's an outdoor amplatheater. It has a restroom nearby.
