Master Larson and Mrs. Master Larson and their students are the exact people you want to learn, or advance your ranking with. These people are the finest skilled martial artists; well advanced in martial arts and yet, relate to the newest beginner (ages 2 - 92). Come as you are! These people will accept you and teach you, step by step, with all the patience and skill you need. They will meet you where you are.

I attended many martial arts academies over the years of my martial arts journey and MAATSDAZ definitely stands out with their strong family-oriented atmosphere and high quality of instruction. Not only are the husband-and-wife studio owners and Tang Soo Do masters excellent teachers, they also developed a solid team of blue belt and black belt instructors who assist at classes of all ages and skill levels. This makes for a high instructor-to-student ratio. I highly recommend this academy to anyone who is serious about training in a Karate-style martial art!

Love this studio! The instructors really care about the kids and their sucess not only in Tang So Do but in life. They incorporate school and home with their lessons. My son Sam has come so far with his lessons. We have also taken part in the summer programs and they are so amazing! Would highly recommend this studio.

Martial Arts Academy of Tung Soo Do in Tempe has a teaching philosophy beyond a simple martial arts class. Master Larson and Mrs Master Larson have created an atmosphere and learning environment that encourages their students to infuse positive characteristics such as self control and respect into their lives. My three grandchildren have been attending classes here for several months and the influence is obvious. Thank you so much for everything you have brought to their lives and teaching them Tung Soo Do as well!
