Love being a tenant here at Residences on Farmer! We've needed maintenance assistance twice and both times the maintenance staff was out within minutes. Yes, there's construction, but Tempe is growing & it's everywhere. Noise doesn't bother us at all. Office staff has always been kind & extremely helpful. Looking forward to renewing with this property.

I have lived in the Tempe area for the past four years, and my favorite occupation by FAR was at the Residences on Farmer. The staff has always been quick to respond, eager to help, and prompt to solve any issue brought to their attention. The units themselves are sold at a very fair price, with wood floors, spacious rooms, and able appliances : an absolute bargain for the digs and the prime location (right next to mill and in walking distance from ASU). Brittany, the building manager, dedicates herself to making sure that your needs are being met and goes above and beyond to check back with you even after resolution. The maintenance staff quickly and successfully fixed our washer within 24 hours, and was so kind to us as residences (always has a smile on his face!). I would suggest these apartments to anyone that values space, a competent and kid staff, and reasonable expenses living in the Tempe area! We will miss the Residences dearly!
Minimal amenities (no pool, only a tiny gross gym). Unacceptable noise levels with massive construction all around (begins at 7 am each morning) and right next to train tracks (train comes by at all times: 2 am, 6 am...). Avoid at all costs.
I wish I could do zero or negative stars for the esidents on farmer\ apartments! I have lived here for three years and am very upset with these apartments. The only reason I lived here so long is due to it was extremely close to ASU while my friend/roommate attends. First off, my vehicle has been broken while here. There is no gate or type of property barrier. People and transients walk through the apartments property 24/7. I catch transients loitering on property, doing drugs, camping, looking in vehicles, and attempting to get into the building almost every day! The apartments have a bicycle room to store your bike, and mine was stolen out of it the first few months I moved in! I have physically been assaulted/attacked by a transient while standing in front of the lobby and luckily the police caught the guy. There is no security here day or night. There is a train track directly next to us and trains only seam to come by late at night honking there horn when your trying to sleep! There is no pool, no BBQ area, no common areas and no designated parking. Parking here is horrible! Almost every single time I try to park there is no parking and forced to park on the city street! Open to easier vehicle damage or theft. Random people/None residents park on property and leave to ASU or down town Tempe leaving us with no parking spots! The leasing office is a ghost town! It is so rare to see some one in the leasing office! A new Whole Foods building is being build next door and keeps the whole apartment sounding like a war zone day and night with there construction noise! So finally beware of this place!
