Have been trying to setup my account with the City of Tempe, and the lack of a clear process upfront is absolutely ridiculous. I have called no less than 6 times today, and am still only slightly closer to getting my account setup for water. I've done everything they asked, but I'm sure they'll find something else to nit pick at and make me start over again. The power company was super easy online. The City of Tempe could learn a thing or two from them.
This monopoly has no competition.. that’s why they’re so shady.. Dishonest employees will lie to you, steal from you by overcharging but they’ll file all the right paperwork.. our constitution actually says that we have a responsibility to take down corrupt institutions like this.. no other business could run like this without being blown away by competitors but every government controlled utilitiy or business runs like this.. inefficient and no attempt even at good customer service.. I’m over it and something needs to change.
Knowledgeable employees for the most part. The wait time is always extremely long. This is worse because the voice that sounds like a hes talking with a lot of nasal congestion repeats every minute.
Always good experiences and service with the City of Tempe. Did have a bit of a wait on the phone but customer service is terrific!
