I park on Jentilly Lane by these townhomes on weekdays when commuting to work. Bunch of homeless folks always hanging out upfront be it noon or midnight. Not a decent sight, for such a beautiful complex.

We moved into a room (signing a brand new lease) with existing damages and took photos at that time. The manager even came to inspect an electrical issue with our room the day we moved in, so they were in our apartment and know these damages were present before our arrival. When I reached out to officially secure some peace of mind about not being held responsible for the pre-existing damages, the response boiled down to: “it’s not our problem. You should have known something no one told you.” So now we’re supposed to get in contact with the previous tenant (whom we’ve never met and lives in another country) and hope we can get them to pay for damages the apartment complex did not address when they moved out. We still have 11 months on our lease and now we have to worry about the way they’ll treat us because of this review, but it feels cowardly and selfish to not share this when it could save someone else from a similar experience.
Thanks to Tracie and her devotion as property manager, my move in experience was seamless. Her and her team have gone above and beyond to assist me when needed. Tracie has even been so gracious to answer calls and reply back to emails after hours. You will not find that anywhere else. Throughout my experience as a renter, most properties lack in “customer service”. Property staff work their designated hours and provide sub par service to their tenants and the property. On the contrary, The Place On Jentilly is a smaller sized community with a greater attention to the well-being of its tenants. The units are comfortable and look new. The grounds are clean and well maintained. And Tracie defines the meaning of a property manager.

During my most recent visit to the community office I went to discuss last months rent as I was a bit late. I was pleasantly surprised when the community manager informed me about the new portal they were using for online payments, as I was not aware this was available. I took the opportunity to meet the new manager, she seemed pleasant enough to deal with; however, now that I know about the portal I don't think I will need to be there very often. Overall pleasant experience.
