Best tennis shop in town, excellent customer service. Jose and his staff were very helpful. They provided great recommendations to help me buy a new racquet. They have the best demo racquet stock I've seen in town, and I was able to try several different options to pick the best one. Will definitely be going back for all of my future tennis needs in DC.
This store has everything you need! I bought a racket after testing it out from the store, even though I didn't need a new one, and re-strung my old racket. The recommendations and information provided by Rowell - the racket expert - were great. Ask him lots of questions, he really likes to explain the specs of the different rackets and strings. I also bought a very stylish bag for my rackets and got compliments the first time I used it. The owner Jose is also very attentive to customer needs and ensuring you leave the store with what you need - whether its products he sells or contacts for private lessons.
I came in wanting to get a new racquet and a new pair of shoes. I'm so glad I came here. I'll never bother bouncing between those large tennis websites to get my gear. The service I got here was second-to-none and made the process of buying my shoes a snap. I was able to try multiple pairs and walk around the store to get a feel for the right ones for me. For my racquet, I utilized their demo program and tried about racquets for a few weeks before finding the right one for me. Each time I demoed a racquet, I was able to talk with the staff here and get feedback and opinions on what works well for me. It really helped with getting the right racquet for me. Once I made my selection they were able to get it strung, gripped, and ready by the next day. I'll be coming here from now on for all my tennis needs.
