I took my husband there on Sunday afternoon after an accident with a table saw. We had never been to this facility. We were quickly admitted to the ER and the triage nurse immediately escorted us back to an exam room. The doctor came in immediately, ordered medications, x-rays and called an orthopedic surgeon for his input. Dr. Peter Ankrom and the nursing staff were amazing! They continued to check in on us and made sure all of our concerns were addressed. We left there with about 20 stitches and information on how to care for the injury until we could see the specialist on Monday. Even the ortho surgeon commented that Dr. Ankrom did an amazing job in stitching back an area where the saw had mutilated. We are very thankful that we have such a great facility in Shelbyville. I would go there again without hesitation should the need arise. We would like to thank everyone from the registrars to all of the fine nursing staff! Excellent job!

The only bad thing I can say is that it take for every just to get lab work done... The hospital the staff is very friendly they do there best to take good care of you I spent a couple nights here before I have no complaint....
Was in there to have an echocardiogram and lab work done, the admitting staff was the best, very friendly and very speedy with the check in process. The echo tech and the lab folks were great! Everyone there was super nice and friendly! A great hospital to serve our community!
I had to go to the ER on August 17 at 9 PM. I received excellent care from the admissions clerk to the nurses and doctors. I had to remain overnight for tests the next day; everyone showed genuine care and concern. I had a very positive experience.
My daughter was injured playing softball representing her school in Shelbyville on 02/22/2020. My insurance paid most of bills and the school insurance paid the rest except for one bill in the amount of 288.99. I have also paid out of pocket for some other bills that the insurance didn’t pay. All in total around 10,000 has been paid by me and my insurance and the school’s insurance. I have been in contact with them and the schools insurance to see if we can get the 288.99 paid. I have a good time line and contact info of who I have talked with. Instead of contacting me and letting me know the school’s insurance did not pay the 288.99 bill they sent it to a collection bureau. They should be a law against this. Obviously they don’t care. I have put a check in the mail to them not to the collection bureau. Very sad my wife will take a hit on her credit.
