More geographic or historic interest would make this a 5 star hike. There is a trail from the parking area straight back. We came to a stream we couldn't cross but the map shows we would have only been able to go until county road 335. The trail is on the western side of the WMA and follows the fence of the neighboring ranch. There are 2 easements through the area. 1 is an electrical line, the other is water and sewer utilities. Both are walkable. Next time I would like to try to get to the lake.
