Accommodating an Art Auction in memory of Virginia Grace Comer (life student and was prospective teacher as well as my daughter) in efforts to establish annual scholarships in memory to the pursuit of her dream in which was taken away from her by a vehicle accident. Our family and friends wish to say Thanks to all the efforts that made this happen and grateful to a place that was able to give everyone a chance to see it happen. Grace would have been so happy to see this as just not for her but the hopes and dreams of others in the same love able to get closer to what life is. As a father with her mother, we will not have the joys of her graduation, college venture, nor her return in teaching and pursuit of being a professor. We also will miss the dramatic entry of her first boyfriend, and husband, her own boy and girl to love, nurture, and tell silly stories to. The marks on door frame depicting her growth through the years are still there, her year book pictures, her friends, her sculptures as well as her own art, it's just she was taken away, her children will not be, her husband will not be. Her dream, it can be shared, it's just not the same. We all miss her so much! Gracie, we love you. You'll always be my baby girl. Always. Love, dad.
