I have lived in Texarkana Arkansas for 10 years, I’ve interacted with TAPD many times. I’ve come to love the men and women behind those badges! They are professional, intelligent, compassionate people. Thank God for TAPD!

The “non-emergency” number listed is indeed an emergency line, as I was so rudely informed by an extremely exasperated, or terribly asthmatic, and abundantly annoyed individual, as if I was a child pretending to call wolf....... I now know what number to call, other than the traditional 911 line, for an emergency.

Hello to whom it may concern, this Police Department is the Good Police Department. But Texas police department is arrest certain people on heir say and its getting out of hand something needs to be done about the situation. Texas police have been coming over jursidiction and arresting anyone and I do not see how that perfectly legal to arrest just anyone and think you can get by with this kind of behavior( Basically using the Law as advantage to Abuse the Authroity of a Government Law system). And this needs to be delt with and this is really not right to come over ( Jurisdiction and arrest just anyone). And a office from the texas side area side its perfectly legal to do so. Willl thats really out of hand and the state cittizens who work for teaxas police department seem to believe its ok to do so
