Paul is professional and inspiring! During my first inquiry of the school, Paul was extremely informative, patient, and answered all of my questions. He has a passion for teaching and his passion was definitely felt. That's when I knew I called the right place. The teacher was able to identify my daughter's strengths and weaknesses upon the very first session. My daughter left the session motivated and has been eagerly practicing at home every since. I have only had great experiences with this company. I'm new to music and was a little shy about getting starting but Paul welcomed me with open arms. Ever since the beginning he has been supportive and encouraging. I have a very unpredictable schedule and while none of the other music teacher would even consider bending their schedules to help me Mr. Paul helped me out and continues to work with me to make sure I get my music lesson! It has truly been a blessing working with him and my instructor.

We received a promo for a free lesson from The Academy for Arts & Education and I took both my kids to see if they would show interest in piano lesson (5 and 6 year old). I was surprises to see how interested and eager both kids were during the lesson. I went ahead and signed up both kids, they are still very much enjoying their lessons. The staff is very friendly, patient, challenging and accommodating. The owner is a professional musician with background in education; he relates and works well with students of all ages.

We brought our son to this program 4 years ago. The level of theory and performance-based approach to the program made a huge impact on his confidence and we were pleasantly surprised by the effect it had on his mathematics courses. . He was a shy middle schooler when we started 4 years ago - and is now a junior with stellar grades in physics and a desire to pursue engineering in college. He also joined theatre and successfully auditioned for one of the lead parts in DreamGirls at Shadow Creek later this winter. This was definitely one of the good choices we made during those tough middle school years. I think the dedication of the instructors is what made the difference .,... kids can tell when the teacher is enjoying the work imo.

Mr. August clearly has a love for music. You learn fundamentals but also the color and interpretation of lyrics etc to add more emotion to playing. This style of teaching makes musicians not just a person who a few tunes.
