I LOVE the barn door in my new home, however the warranty service is awful. I first called in September 2020 to place a warranty request. Today is December 2, the 2pm appointment has not showed up. Last week's appointment would have been late, but I cancelled it 30 after the appointment time, because the company was not following through on the promised fix. Today was the day the new handle was to be installed. No one is answering the phone, no one has showed up. The install quality and door are lovely. Service after the sale is problematic. These are expensive doors. Hey guys! where is the follow through for your customers? Really disappointed. December 8, 2020. THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEW. The service appointment arrived on time with a new door handle. Everything was handled professionally and I am now happy with the result. Communication was excellent from Chad at the Company. Thank you for completing the warranty request. The final Review is now Five Stars.

My husband and I decided to take a look at this place because we wanted a barn door for our pantry. The 2 men there were super nice. They didn't make us a wear a mask, even the man helping us wore one. The other man, who was probably the manager or something, even let me lay my infant son on the couch in his office so he could comfortably finish his bottle. Beautiful showroom too.

Loved the idea of a family run business. But they really left me dealing with my doors alone after I paid a premium price. After explaining that my places were very small, they still sent me door tracks that absolutely didn’t work in my space. I had to buy new tracks and cut down the doors in order for them to fit. I have been trying to contact them because I needed two more door handles That I was shorted, but no contact back. I am in the process of having to buy them myself. I was given a piece of reclaimed wood that they said they would hand pick for me, the doors look nothing like that piece. I understand what reclaimed wood is, but don’t tell me you can’t guarantee the color after the doors are completed and sent to me. I do like the doors. But with all the complications and non communication, I would not recommend. It was way more work and very costly on my end.

I don't usually give a 5-star rating, but The Barn Door Store deserves it! I initially had Chad design a barn door for my master bathroom. They masterfully incorporated some wood from my uncle's actual barn...wood that I had been saving 20 years! The door is beautiful and truly a heart-warming addition to my home. Working with Chad in the design process was so easy...and fun! Installation was on time, professionally done leaving a spotless area. Based on my very positive interactions and quality product, I've had The Barn Door Store make a set of double doors for my master bedroom, a single door for my powder room, a barn door style mirror for the master bathroom and a 9' ladder. All done with meticulous attention to detail with their products and installations, I'm now ready for Chad to design and build a set of book cases. My beautiful, custom pieces from The Barn Door Store contribute to making my house a home. Outstanding products, outstanding customer service...I high recommend The Barn Door Store.
