The boat yard continues to treat us professionally and with the highest regard for our satisfaction even a year after we purchased our new boat. Chet continues to provide the best products and services possible to all his customers. We will continue to frequent his business! We are treated like family!

I highly recommend. We recently purchased a boat and Chet and Brandon went above and beyond when it came to questions and getting everything needed for our purchase. They kept me informed every step of the way and may the process a breeze. We will continue to do business with the The Boat Yard! You will not be disappointed. Friendly service and great attitudes and overall a great buying experience!

I just bought a stingray 186cc boat from Chet at The Boat Yard. Chet and everyone at the shop was very helpful, taking time to walk me through various facets of boat operation and answering my questions. They even helped solve towing issues with the truck I brought to bring the boat home. It has been a great experience so far. Bill

Friendly, helpful service above-and-beyond. My outboard engine was not working. Mark spent much more time than I could have expected discussing the problem and possible causes/solutions even though I made it clear I was going to try to fix it myself. All I bought was a small part.

I drove 4 hours to Houston to have Chet and his people install a Tohatsu 20hp motor on my boat. One week later with less than 2 hours of use the motor dislodged while cruising along and sunk to the bottom. It's a complete loss and I'm out 3600 due to their neglect. They have declined to help or compensate me in any way and put the blame completely on me. They also had me sign the documents before the install was complete and before I saw how they did not bolt it down. While installing the motor I noticed they cut the starboard spacer that came with my old motor then they simply put it between the clamp and jack plate. Nothing was bolted down. I questioned them multiple times about that installation and was dismissed by Chet and his people. The owner's manual states they should in fact bolt it down as well as check that the fasteners are tightened to the specified torque and use a lift or hoist to install the motor, none of which were done. They've told me it's not their fault and put the blame completely on me. I told them this was my first boat and I trusted their advice and they took advantage of me and took the experience of boating away from me and my family.
