I really enjoy going to this park. There's two playgrounds for children, soccer/ football field, tennis courts, basketball courts, track and field, and a gym. I always come here for a walk. It's really easy to get here, there's five bus lines that come here and the D line subway station.

I moved to this neighborhood in 2010. My building is across the street from his park, it is what I like the most about this area. The park has everything a park should have for everyone to enjoy. Track, field, two park area for smaller kids, a skate board section, basketball, a dog run, a gym and about 8 tennis courts. Plenty of benches and trees to enjoy a summer day. In addition, the entire park has trails to walk. People of all ages including myself take walks or run around this park everyday. Some for leisure others to stay fit. Families celebrate their kids birthday here, other spend the day and have a picnic. The parks department take care of the park pretty well. Trees are replaced when they are damage by storms and the grass is cut as needed. The police drive and patrol the park regularly. I could hear the noise from the kids playing football on the weekends. It is a great park. Only issue I gave is with the peopke who leave their garbage behind. No home training

I enjoyed many years growing up playing in this park since the 70s when there was a swimming pool in the basketball courts. Today the pool has been replaced with sprinklers. I bring my children and they seem to have more fun than i did.

This is by far one of the biggest and outstanding parks in the bronx. It has outlined areas for all most every sport you can think of and to top it off it's always free of liter and stragglers.
