I cannot speak on behalf of other doctors but I can speak about Jennifer Mitchell. She has been my primary care doctor for about 2 years and I love her. Very friendly and knowledge. Every time I go there, I feel well taken care of by her and her team. If you go to Lakeside Medical, try to get Jennifer Mitchell.

Place will be shut down in a year. When they insult people wearing their own mask and make them wear one of theirs it is insulting. I could go but why bother. Don't go here if you can help it. Things went down after Dr V retired.

I'm looking for a new primary care doctor. I called the office on a Wednesday to schedule an appointment. They told me that they require new patient paperwork to be completed before they will schedule an appointment. They emailed the paperwork to me on Wednesday and told me once I completed it and returned it, they would call me to schedule an appointment. I filled out the paperwork and returned it on Wednesday, the same day that I called. I called them on Friday to see how long it would take for someone to call. They said it shouldn't take that long. They looked and found that they didn't print one of the forms so it looked like my paperwork was not complete. They fixed the error but still no one called. They finally called the next Wednesday. It literally took a full week for someone to call me to schedule an appointment. I didn't make the appointment. By then I had called a different doctor's office and was scheduled immediately.

After a boxing incident that left my ribs sore I called to see if I could be seen by a doctor to check out my swollen ribs. The receptionist said my usual doctor was seeing patients and that she'd leave her a message inquiring what I should do and call me back. Three hours later after hearing nothing I called back. The receptionist said the doctor was still seeing patients and that she left her a digital message. I told her that I just wanted my ribs checked out because they're swolle and that I didn't even need to see my regular doctor, ANY DOCTOR! She then said my regular doctor has an opening tomorrow but they don't do imaging to look at bones.. I waited three hours to hear something that she could have told me right at the beginning. Needless to say, I went to the ER where they discovered I had fractured a rib. They told me I don't need to go back in but to go to my regular physician in 6-8 weeks. I dont think I'll be TRYING to get an appointment here anymore.

Was not super pleased with my visit and Dr. Kim. She was condescending and ended up just acting annoyed that I was there. I am there to learn but I felt like I was supposed to know this stuff and just have everything figured out. I was so shaken up after my appointment and I really don't want to go back. I've never had a doctor that lacked so much compassion/patience to just listen and then be helpful. Compassion to me is a must when you're a doctor.
