Ben, the retail specialist, assisted me and my sister. Ben provided outstanding customer service to the both of us. My sister had many questions about purchasing a new phone and phone plan. My sister is not technically savvy, so the process probably took way longer than normal. Ben was very kind, patient, and informative. You can tell Ben cares about the customers and he wants to make sure they are happy with their purchase. I'll definitely remember the level of service that Ben provided and I'll consider returning to this store for my future Verizon needs.

Don't understand why you just moved to this location not too long ago and it is now closed indefinitely. The closest one is now Addison unless you go to the authorized dealers which say they cannot help with everything. Definitely need more stores available for customers to go to in person.

I understand and respect the issues of restricting access to your store during a pandemic. But I do not respect a business that sells a phone, pushes you out the door without turning it on, activating it and making sure it even works for nearly 1,000. I have 3 Verizon cell phones and lines (business, personal and my son's) and I am a loyal customer. But Monday July 13, I was sold a phone and was told due to current circumstances that they could not activate the phone and it would activate when turned on after I left. The phone would not active and had multiple errors. When I called the store, it would not allow me to speak with anyone at the local store and directed me into Verizon support, which I waited for over 2 hours on hold with ZERO response. During this time I also logged into My Verizon to initiate a Support Chat session which also waited for over an hour with ZERO response. Thank goodness for my corporate Verizon phone and using that I called support (while on hold on my personal phone and waiting on chat support on the web site). The corporate response line was answered by a human being immediately and after nearly 45 minutes they were able to activate the phone and resolve my issues. I am seriously considering dropping Verizon but I would highly suggest you STAY AWAY from The Colony Verizon Store! The management for this store should be ashamed. You can maintain social distance and while wearing a mask instruct a customer how to open the box, activate the phone and verify the phone works without the Verizon employee touching the phone while staying healthy and safe. This can all be done while taking care of your customer and ensuring the product you just sold them works to their satisfaction. In comparison, my wife purchased a new iPhone from AT&T a few weeks ago and they activated the phone and made sure there were no issues before she left the store even during the pandemic. Maybe time to consider a change.
