Just went to the super foods night here and it was fantastic. The food was great and the instruction was informative and fun. I am already signed up to do another class and cannot wait to go again. I highly recommend this cooking school. Jake was wonderful and made cooking fun and delicious.

Great time learning how to make eggplant parmesan! Jake was a great host and I learned just how easy a dish like this can be. We came with a group of all strangers, but by the end of the class the atmosphere was very friendly as we’d all helped cook something together! Would definitely recommend for large and small groups.
We had so much fun! The class was interactive, Chef Jake did a great job getting everyone involved, and the food was delicious. The Cooking School also did a great job to keep COVID safety measures in mind. I felt comfortable and it didn't take away from the overall experience whatsoever. We will be back and will highly recommend to others!
My husband and I treated some friends out for Valentine's Day/ birthday. We wanted to give them an experience. This outing, Jake, and Cooking on Irwin Street didn't disappoint! We had a marvelous time with other attendees making pasta and the sauces. We'll definitely be back!!
The food was decent, and it can be fun with a group. However, our group booked an experience to learn to make pasta. If you guessed that I didn’t actually get to learn to make pasta, you guessed correctly! To me, this was a fatal flaw for the class, and the only reason I’m not scoring the class lower is because the instructor was otherwise personable enough and the group generally had a good time. The instructor was also very late, which he did attempt to make amends for. It had the potential to be a lot more fun (for me) if he’d delivered what he promised when the class started, which was for everyone to get to experience making the pasta. At the very end, just before it was time for us to eat (when everyone else was finishing), the instructor noted to me that he “hadn’t forgotten” that I hadn’t had the opportunity to make pasta yet. However, when you’re with a group, who wants to have the experience alone? No one wants to be made to feel like they matter least.
