Overlooking Central Park, this place offers good food, good service and a nice selection of wines. However, it’s not what I would call good cost performance. It feels a bit too expensive for what it offers.

Very niece atmosphere, food seems like cooked by angels, niece staff, good wines and I have a bonus of an incredible sunset summer at 09pm. Fantastic experience!

I went there for brunch. Waiters were too busy to attend to me so the host took my order. The brunch was 2 courses for 45.00 my first course was a tiny salad, wilted and smothered with dressing. Maybe 5 tiny shreds of wilted salad with too many croutons. The bread basket was nice so excessive croutons is not a meal. The pork Milanese was undercooked in some sections and I cut those off. Service and food was not recommended. Go somewhere else where you can get a good and satisfying meal. Stomach didn’t feel good after eating there. As a new member of the museum, it was disappointing.

Find you somewhere to eat! The food is super terrible. Their yogurt parfait is better described as “water plus stale fruit.” You’re gonna spend 70 dollars on something you won’t pay a penny at the grocery. The main entrees and coffee are also terrible! Save your money. Save your mood. Don’t go there. What a shame that the Met, as one of the most decent museums in the world, has a terrible restaurant to defraud. The view is nice and the servers are not very bad. However, never, never have I experienced a restaurant inside a museum which serves food so disgusting like this one. DO NOT GO.

I had the 55 prix fixe brunch and I think it was excellent: delicious, creative and beautiful, befitting the Met and a good value for the context. Service is pleasant and attentive. It is a formal dining room however - in no way stuffy or snooty, just not my style. I miss the airier, lighter, dotted-with sculpture Petite Court (still around, but self service pre made food), which feels more of a piece with the museum's contents instead of elevated for the taste of wealthier donors (whom I appreciate!). Not a criticism, just painting the picture I perceive.

So we did the afternoon tea at the dining and it was not worth it. Presentation was sloppy. Food was under whelming for the price and the teas are nothing special. The tea selection is harneys and son. If your a teas lover, u know u can purchase that teas on amazon for so much less. I am very disappointed. Desserts were litterally the jam they served with the scones in a macroon and a tart shell. The reason for the 2 star is cause service was good.

The "new" (Feb. 2020) Members Dining Room menu now offers only two dining options for dinner, either a 3-course meal for 65 (appetizer, pasta, entree--no dessert) or a 4-course meal that does include dessert. No ala carte options! I'm a Met staff member so eat here several times a year, but these changes mean I won't be back any time soon. When people are eating less and sharing courses why are you requiring us to order more food? Usually I share an appetizer and dessert and order my own entree. And the Sunday brunch is now a prize fixe menu for 45. 45 for an omelet and some salad? Let's get real. Very disappointed!
