It's free admission and is worth checking out to get a better feel of the significance of Fayetteville. Who knew that Fayetteville had so much to do with transportation? I sure didn't and definitely learned a thing or two from here. Also, there is a small Farmer's Market on Saturdays mornings that has about 4-6 vendors selling some produce, art, and canned goodies.

We had fun learning about Fayetteville's history and Lafayette. Also there was a baseball room that was interesting too.
As a history buff, I truly enjoyed this museum. Found it fascinating to see and learn the early history of Fayetteville as well how ppl got around in the late 1700s and up until the mid-1800s
Very informative.Really enjoy going thur the displays
Interesting place. Lots of info and artifacts from Fayetteville, NC. We went there on a cold , rainy December day and the entire place was not open . still I would go back to see the rest of it
