We had an awesome time with Ester!! We were a group of 7 and choose the gnocchi. The experience was so fun and comfortable and the food was delish! The whole experience was fun and enjoyable! Definitely recommend as a fun ladies night, group night, even a couple date!

The flavor exchange is no longer open. I went today expecting herbal teas but there is a nice little cheese shop where it was. The owner said it had moved to Charlotte.

Our Airbnb host ran the shop and are such great people. This little shop is so unique who whole ever have thought flavored balsamic vinaigrette would go good on ice cream. We really enjoyed the cooking class they had one evening and wish we could go back again!

Absolutely love this place. The people are super friendly and just make you feel at home and they've got an amazing selection of oils, balsamic vinegrettes, spices, and yea! Speaking of tea they have this blooming butterfly tea that is amazing, smells great, tastes great, and is very beautiful to look at while you drink, if you're a tea can I highly reccomend it! I feel a little piece of heaven calling my name every time I walk into this place.

I shop here and I think the selection is very good. Several of my friends have taken the cooking classes and had very good things to say.

Always friendly and always good service. My only request is more spices. Seems like the past few times they've been out of the same spices... Zatar/herbs de province etc.

My husband and I could not be bigger fans of the flavor exchange! This is our go-spot anytime we have family and friends visiting because it's such a different type of shop- we always love tasting the new olive oils and balsamic vinegars they bring in as well as stocking up on our staple favorites (like garlic olive oil & lemon white balsamic). Donna & Tom (owners) are two of the kindest people you can meet and Donna won't let you get very far without a taste of olive oil or balsamic over vanilla ice cream!! The olive oils are high quality, reasonably-priced, and the smaller bottles are PERFECT for hostess gifts and stocking-stuffers. We also love their cooking classes- we've done homemade ravioli and eggplant parmesan- just grab your favorite wine & friends and you get to dine on what you've made!! If you're in the Southern Pines area, this shop is a must (plus it's attached to cheese shop Southern Whey)- and come hungry!
