Property management is difficult everywhere, but in NYC it's particularly tough. To actually SAVE money while improving the management of a property is nigh on to impossible, but that's exactly what Tina Larsson and the Folson Group will help your building do. I'm the treasurer of my co-op board, and have been working with Mark and Tina from the Folson Group for a couple of years. I continue to be surprised that every co-op in the city isn't working with this kind of service. The economic model is 100% aligned to generate savings, and they don't get paid if they don't find savings. They are very thorough, detail oriented, and always have innovative ideas to save our building money. We aren't forced to take their ideas, although we have taken many of them. They also aren't afraid to recommend the status quo, which I appreciate because it means they are looking out for the building as opposed to solely looking to save money, even at the expense of quality.
