I've been coming here for 23 years of my life!!! I love the house special pan fried noodles, shrimp fried rice, wonton soup, and the calamari. It's always delicious! Good combo with Thai tea :)

Our Chinese-American tour bus driver recommended The Garden Restaurant. We weren't disappointed. There's an option to eat "family style" or order individual plates. We opted for the individual plates. Each came with soup, an egg roll, and steamed rice (with an option to upgrade to fried rice or brown rice for 2 extra). The egg rolls came first and were good. The soup of the day was egg drop. I didn't really like it (taste, texture, or smell), but I'm not an egg drop soup fan in general. I ordered the Mongolian Beef. It was very tasty, but a little too spicy for my sensitive stomach, so hubby traded with me. Hubby had ordered the Twice Cooked Pork Belly. So delicious! This was my favorite dish. I think this might be the most authentic Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at. Very much recommended.

Generous portions and friendly service in this no frills restaurant with a Pan China menu (including a number of Sichuan/Chongqing dishes, pretty authentically flavored).

Food is decent. Service is good. Female server (not the owner) kept stepping on me each time she delivers our seven dishes. Hard to enjoy your dinner while getting step on.

I stopped in at noon on a Friday to this charming little place. The service was excellent. And Fast. I ordered carry out General Tsao's with pork fried rice. They packaged it with the spicy sauce seperate. I liked that. The fried rice was white rice with scrambled egg. It was good. But not what i expected.

This is an unassuming restaurant in Chinatown that has great food, wide selection and fast service. We've always come here every time we're at this neighborhood. It is close to the financial district, union square and a lot of the tourist destinations. The food is affordable and the portions are adequate.
