As you walk past the storefront, the basset hounds, playful kittens, and fluffy cats will grab your eye. Then, you’ll peek in the windows and notice an assortment of products - local art, pottery, candles, jewelry, canned veggies, local honey, delicious snacks (like the irresistible Wicked Mix), homemade bath products, and so much more. Once you walk in, you’ll enjoy petting the friendly cats and pups while finding something unique for yourself or a special gift for another. Janet, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable about everything in her store and all her animals. She rescues these furry babies on top of running a business. It doesn’t matter what shape a cat is in when it’s found in a box across the street or in a dumpster next to the building. Janet does everything she can to nurse it back to health and give it the quality of life it deserves. No matter the cost. Highly recommend stopping by The Gathering when you are in the Rogers Square. As with all businesses right now - wear a mask and be safe. With The Gathering - add be kind to animals on top of that. You won’t regret stopping in.

Just stopped into this shop - lutes in by cute kittens in the window and promises of local craftsmanship. Unfortunately the middle aged woman employee in the back was horrible. She was rude, spoke with contempt to my well behaved children, and tried to keep anyone in our group from any interaction with the animals - even as they approached ubhappy for a pet. If you are looking for a fun place to stop in when visiting Rogers I would definitely avoid this place. That kind of toxic energy can throw off a whole day of fun - hope they opt for someone who has better personal skills to interact with customers in the future.
This place is amazing. They are so kind and do selfless work. They are always happy to answer questions and they are so knowledgeable about everything in the shop.
