We wanted to do something outside in this beautiful weather and Gear ReSource Outfitters was an obvious choice! We rented a tandem kayak and the equipment pickup and directions were super easy to follow, the gear was great quality and the scenery on the river was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

On a whim, decided I wanted to go canoeing yesterday. Called up The Gear Resource Outfitters and inquired about shuttle service. No problem, meet at the shop at 3:00. I was there at 3:00, helped load my canoe on their trailer and they had me on the water by 3:25. Fantastic, relaxing afternoon on the water, friendly professional service and a brewery right by the landing. Thanks for the great afternoon and look forward to the next trip, being new to the area, I appreciated the recommendations about other things to do here as well.
The perfect friends and family, social distancing, contactless, activities are at Gear ReSource. We rented kayaks today and they made the entire process so easy. A thorough yet user-friendly website and they had our kayaks & lifejackets waiting for us at the departure site. They have year round activities and I will be using them again.
Tip top no tippy canoes rock solid The boss lady has 2 tons of hustle and more knowledge. Won’t disappoint.
