Comfortable outdoor dining during pandemic with heaters, and even better when they remember to keep at least a small opening at both ends of the tent - for airflow. Foods: Delicious! Service: Wonderful! Drinks: Well... there’s only one bartender/mixologist there that I’m aware of, who can make cocktails that are palatable. If you know what he looks like as well and he is there, then Salute the cocktails! If you don’t know what he looks like or you know what he looks like and he is not there, I would suggest to stick to wines - or order at your OWN RISK:). Update: I offered feedback on cocktails and they fixed the issue. How wonderful. Husband and I had dinner again last Friday, greeted by the manager/owner? She was very gracious and let us know the cocktail issue was taken seriously and has been addressed. We ordered Manhattans that night and the cocktails were absolutely delicious. We'll be back. Thank you.

Love the matzoh ball soup. Super clean restaurant which hires a very kind and attentive staff. Love the curbside pickup option. Be sure to tip if you use the curbside pickup option. The rye bread is the best in town. I love their bagels, their pickled vegetables. Their cucumber salad is amazingly refreshing. I love their expansion of their bakery line even though we are in a pandemic. I don't eat that much beef, but their hamburgers are delicious. I love their chicken salad: fresh and crunchy. Please support this restaurant, a wonderful local addition to Atlanta.
I am from Chicago so my palate for authentic deli sandwiches is highly developed. Hands down they make the best pastrami sandwich south of the Mason-Dixon line. Their pastrami is made in house and the "piled high" edition of the sandwich is what you should go for. It is a true culinary delight!
Really great service! They have very high ceilings and dining areas are distanced so it seems very covid safe. Love their iced tea! Had the tuna melt today. Very nice with a half sour pickle. Wasn't a fan of the potato salad but this is a preference not that others wouldn't like it. Beautiful space!
The pastrami sandwich was good, but I think it could have been more moist. Not sure if you’ll find a better pastrami in Atlanta though. Their bakery smells incredible.
Ordered Take out for dinner and then next days breakfast recently from The General Muir. Ordered using their website and shortly after ordering they reached out to say that some pastry items were not available. I was not too disappointed knowing that they are typically busy. Was expecting a refund when I got to the restaurant, but instead I was treated so kindly and was offered multiple bakery items to make up for them not having the pastry as well as receiving a refund for the items they did not have. They went above and beyond to make sure my business was valued and treated me like a king. They have earned a customer for life. By they way, the food matches their service. Burgers are amazing, fries are amazing, Pastries and bread items are amazing, would highly recommend. Thank you
My wife and I went mid January on a Friday and sat at the bar right before they closed. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. We were also greeted by the kind manager who offered us a loaf of baked Challah bread, from earlier, that would need to be thrown away at the end of the night anyways. We gladly accepted and enjoyed our meals that night and the bread the rest of the weekend. Also the drinks weren't terrible either. Overall great experience and would highly recommend for dinner (if we end up going there for breakfast, I will follow up with another review).
Tgm is a consistent 5/5 for me. If you come here start with the poutine with pastrami added to it If you want to play it safe you can get the burger which is one of the best in the city. The bun is exceptional with a crisp outside and fluffy inside and the burger is pretty good too. Lastly would highly recommend finishing the night with either a piece of cheesecake or a piece of chocolate cake. Both of which are the best in the city by far!
