We started coming to The Initial Design because our school had their emblem embroidered here. However, since then, we've become frequent customers. The workmanship is fantastic, the unique gifts throughout are beautiful, and it's just a fun, adorable place to find a thoughtful gift (or have one personalized!). The turnaround time for items brought in for embroidering is not bad, either, especially if you need something done quickly! Highly recommend.

Well it’s 6:00pm on Christmas Eve and I waited this long to get a call that my order from Dec 8th of two monograms on two stockings was ready. No answer and a full mailbox. I called three times in the last week, the final call 8:30 this morning when I was assured the order would be ready. At this point, I just want my stockings back!!!
Really nicely curated, locally owned shop. It seems like they can monogram or personalize anything! So many wonderful choices and their quality is top-notch. I love going in just to see what new things they have out. They make giving just the right gift really easy.
