So tranquil & peaceful! Perfect location overlooking Johnson Bay, simply stunning! Stayed at one of the suites away from the main building and on top of the hill. Watch sunrises & sunsets, crazy clouds giving way to beautiful colors! Dinner was delicious. Youu WANT to stay here!

Very scenic, peaceful and cozy. Spectacular views. Staff were very nice. Fresh seafood available on premises, right off the fishing boats! We had a kitchen in our unit. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. We just shopped at the in town Lyons IGA where we found fresh organic produce etc. AJ in housekeeping was very kind and accommodating. Susan, the manager, was also very accommodating. She was knowledgeable and made very helpful recommendations and suggestions about the area and things to do. It is winter and off season so many things were closed but it was great. Nearby towns had open restaurants and stores if we needed anything extra. Nice place to relax!

We only ate at the restaurant. From my point of view, the draw here is the incredible view from virtually every table. It is a plain, very small restaurant, and when we visited it was the only game in town. The menu was extremely limited due to the time of year. There was only one waitress, and she was harried and rightfully so. Not much else to say about that. The food is overpriced and average. The chowders have a tasty soup base but they are mostly potatoes with limited amounts of seafood. The fish and chips were pretty good but a bit on the greasy side. There is a basic selection of beer and wine though the waitress didn’t know anything about them. I will admit that they serve a very decent size glass of wine! Come for the view and to support the local economy!

We loved our stay at the Inn. The room was clean and had beautiful views. The community kitchen was convenient for us to store some left overs when we went out to eat. The 1st night we arrived a little late (6:30pm) due to traffic. The woman working the lobby desk was kind enough to call us and make sure we weren't lost. When we got there we wanted to go eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately it was full. The 1st server was very apologetic and felt bad for us. Another server walked by and we asked if it would be possible to place a take out order. She damn near bit our heads off. Complaining and carrying on how they were short staffed and they didn't have this and they didn't have that. It was a Tuesday, not a weekend. She begrudgingly took our order and in a very nasty tone said, "It's going to be a while so don't expect it any time soon." So we just went back to our rooms because we felt like idiots after she did this in front of all of the customers sitting at the counter seats. We came back later and took our food back to our room. Thankfully every other time we went to eat there this particular server was not there. All of the other servers were very nice and professional.

Super excited for seafood, super let down by bar tender and dining staff. Must have been senior citizen night, we ( a young couple), sat down near the bar inside and were blatantly ignored. Other dining guest sat down on either side of us and were quickly attended too. After patiently waiting, we left. Great food elsewhere in town! Avoid this place

Made reservations over the phone, for a room with a king size bed. He said I would recieve a confirmation via email. Did not recieve. Called the next day and was told they did not have a reservation for me. Thought it was all cleared up until we got there. We were given a queen bed. Not good...I was told that is what I reserved. The view from the room was fantastic. This is the only reason I am giving this place two stars... Down hill from there... There was a very bad smell in our room. The walls are paper thin. You could here every thing from the rooms on either side of us. Now on to the restaurant. They were out of clams and salmon at 6pm, seriously? I ordered a crab cake that came out of the kitchen, black on both sides. I returned it and recieved another crab cake black on one side and cold on the inside. Refused that one too. My husband and I both ordered the haddock chowder. It was a very tasty broth. There was no Haddock or potato In their chowder.
