I am the seller on a closing thatwas scheduled with this firm, however, the buyer terminated after all contingencies had passed. My agent has been trying to get an update on the earnest money, which the buyer is contesting. We cannot seem to get an answer from them in it's been several weeks I fully understood that the firm has to hold the earnest money due to the dispute. My complaint is that they have been unresponsive to multiple inquiries as to where we are in the process and what happens next. Now it has been another week, with my agent/broker making numerous requests for an update and no one from Laster will respond. Just asking what the status is.
