I have read through the some of these comments and I will first start off by saying this..... If you had the expectation that an attorney you hire is going to make things magically normal for you again, you may want to re-evaluate your view. I retained Laura last year for a re-location battle and won primary custody and residence of our child this past week. I have been dealing with parental alienation and mental anguish for 5 plus years. How did we win? We had documented proof & facts, not emotions. I encourage anyone going through ANY type of family issue to document, document, document and retain (i.e. police reports, messages, investigative tools, etc.). Without it, you are just hiring a person and expecting them to make it all better for you with nothing. I honestly could have done this by myself, but I needed someone who could represent me to interpret the law (specifically family law) to help me put together a timeline of pattern and behaviors. That is what you are getting when hiring an attorney. As far as the communication, it was spotty in the beginning--but I respectfully set the expectation upfront. If you didn't do that, it's on you. Other than that, I highly recommend Laura, as she has over 30 years experience and it showed during our trial. Joann, the paralegal is amazing as well. Want to give credit, where credit is due to all who had involvement in this case. Thank you both.

I couldn't be more disappointed in my experience with Laura. She \Sold\ me during the consultation when I was describing the messy divorce and custody battle I was in. She convinced me to pay her 5,000 upfront as a flat fee which at the time I thought was too good to be true, it was. Laura was very difficult to reach, I found out through her social media that she was undergoing cosmetic surgery shortly after taking on my case at a very crucial point. She forgot about a key deposition with my witness, and then was rude to my witness when I had to reschedule with them as if she were opposing counsel. I had to fire her and hire another attorney. When I did finally get my refund she had billed for 4,510 of the 5,000 which is criminal considering she did nothing for my case. I am reporting Laura to the Bar for being a scam. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!
