The Magdalen House connects clients with a 12-Step program and provides additional resources to assist them with successfully reestablishing their lives without alcohol. Our vision is to create and build a thriving community for recovered women and their families—one woman at a time. For 29 years, The Magdalen House has played a role in changing the lives of thousands of women and their families in North Texas. Our facility is the first and continues to be the only one of its kind in the area to provide this critical service to the community Located in East Dallas, Maggie's House, as it's affectionally called, offers a no-cost, 14-day non-medical detox program for women, and more than 5,000 women have completed our Detox Program. In addition, over 6,000 women in the recovery community attend one of 460 meetings every year at The Magdalen House and depend on our house meetings to sustain their own recovery. By providing these services, we have created a thriving community of women and their families building a stronger Dallas for future generations.
