One sentence could sum up this review: YOU NEED TO GET MARRIED AT THE MANSION AT COLOVISTA. I'll expand of this sentence though; My husband and I used The Mansion for our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, and couldn't have been more satisfied. My husband and I got married during the biggest ice storm Texas has ever seen. On the morning of our wedding, almost every vendor cancelled, but Julie and Bob were there to help in any way. Not only did they cater to our every need, but they did so in a loving and helping way. Us and our guests were trapped at the venue for days after due to the ice storm, and they didn't skip a beat, they provided us with warmth and even fed us while we were there! I got so many compliments on the beautiful venue and how accomodationg Julie and Bob were, I will recommend The Mansion at ColoVista to every couple I know!

My husband and I got married here this past April. We had a better experience than we ever expected or could have even asked for. The venue itself is gorgeous and a wedding venue unlike most I have seen. Guests can roam about the mansion in each unique room, upstairs or downstairs, or spend time on the lawn or in the front rose garden. It makes the whole wedding experience engaging for guests. The bridal suite, grooms quarters, cottages on site, golf course--there so many amenities the Mansion offers that make the weekend feel like a getaway for the bride and groom, bridal party and guests alike! *Do note: if you do an outdoor ceremony, the sun sets into the valley so the sun will likely be in guests eyes, depending on your time of ceremony. BUT - it makes for a BEAUTIFUL time for the sunset after dinner that guests really enjoy (ours began at 6 pm). However, the venue is not the only thing that makes The Mansion at ColoVista an amazing place to pick for your wedding. Bobby and Julie, the owners, are willing and happy to accommodate all (reasonable) requests. Julie is kind and thoughtful in how she interacts with us as the bride and groom, as well as thinking of the guests and their experiences. Bobby is courteous and willing to help out in any and all ways he can. They also partner with Brenda Abbot Floral, who will coordinate the day, and her team does a near perfect job. All in all, we couldn't recommend The Mansion enough!

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Absolutely stunning views. Well appointed reception rooms. And the Bride's Room is the bomb! Hands on staff, Julie Brown and her assistant. Can't go wrong here!

my wife and i got married here at the end of February on a Saturday (leap year!) and while this phrase is often over used, i can promise it fits the occasion: it was perfect. we had planned it out for about a year and from all the vendors who we found (catering, video, photo) to the ones Julie recommended (DJ, bartenders) were just awesome. both Julie and Bobby really are the best. they were always on-point with meeting prior to the big day, getting access, day-of (thankfully weather was beautiful) into the evening, and even the next day helping make sure we left with all our belongings. the venue space itself is such a great find and getting married out on the back area overlooking the hill country.. again - it was all we could have asked for. the cottages were a huge plus as well since we had so many people coming from out of town and wanted to keep people central to one area for the days leading up. they're like basic hotel rooms that back up to the golf course and we put on an after-party down there after our wedding. i can't recommend both the venue and Julie Bobby highly enough. meet them once and visit it and you will understand.
