I came for my girlfriend’s birthday and we loved the food here, the parmesan crusted chicken was delicious, the scallops were so fresh and cooked right, the cream tomato soup was really good, nothing to complain about. They have an exceptional service. Definitely coming back soon.

We thought the fare was very good, but the service could be improved just a bit. Overall worth a visit if you are in NYC

The scene is very good but the money goes quickly her. But its worth it with good food and people around you

I ordered pea soup, and fries. It wasn’t good at all, and the fries were cold. Like, the last thing you expect from a good restaurant.

Great lunch spot... The burger is not cheap but it qualifies as an experience and the fry's are great as well!

Underwhelmed by the whole experience - the food is okay, the service is slow, the ambiance is also okay. We had to wait for everything a long while considering there was only 4 tables total set down at different times its strange. All our hot drinks were close to room temperature when served. We had to wait for requested blanket 10 minutes and figure out how to turn on heater by our table ourselves. When one of our friends tries to order an egg croissant w avocado, he was served 2 plain mini croissants w avocado slices on a separate plate which we thought was hilarious. We had to look around and wave at employees to get attention each time. We ordered Pancakes, 2 eggs w sausage and home fries, 2 mini croissants w avocado slices and spent close to 100 with tip. There are plenty more restaurants with better food and service on UES. Just skip and go next door to Sant Ambroeus.

One of the landmark restaurants in NY. Always coming back here with pleasure. This time I had the best oysters in a while. Lively and lovely ambiance, this is a must place to go to when in New York.
