Centrally located off Hwy 29 on Heathcote Blvd. I stayed one week with my sister. The complex is safe, the grounds are nice and as close as it was to Hwy 29 we enjoyed peace and quiet. If I loved in the area I too would live here!

Nice community, close to shopping, highways, hiking trails and biking trails, horse trails, dog friendly, close to local battlefields, near wineries for some wine tasting, not far from breweries if you like that, 45 minutes from Dulles airport.

I have lived at the Marque for 2.5 years and really enjoy being here. It is my first apartment in over 50 years. There is a real sense of community here which I wouldn't trade for anything else! There are many activities going on if one should choose to participate in activities and one doesn't have to leave the building. The office staff has always been friendly to me, and maintenance is quick to address any problems.

I live here as a single parent and I have no plans to look elsewhere. The location is prime; right at 29, 66, and Linton Hall. The few times I have needed maintenance, they were prompt and fixed the issues right away! I really appreciate the amenities (even though we don't use them all). The swimming pool is very clean in the summer and there's always a life guard on duty. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful in the spring/summer! My kid had a bunch of others over for a sleepover birthday party and the theater room was a huge hit! Sometimes it smells a little weird in the halls, in all honesty, but it isn't for lack of cleanliness (I think it's just from others' apartments). The cleaning guy is hard at work in the common areas every morning and he is very polite and friendly to everyone. The women in the leasing office have always been very helpful and are really easy to communicate with! Recently they even coordinated a Saturday pet adoption in the main lobby and waived the pet fee, which was really cool! There's lots of activities for retired/stay at home people throughout the week including fitness, crafting, game, meal, and holiday activities. They have a van to take older folks grocery shopping during the week too. We love the spacious kitchen in our apartment unit and really appreciate all of the closet space and large bathrooms too! I feel like it's a really safe place for me to live with a younger child. A key fob is required to enter the building, so not just anyone can walk on in. The other tenants seem to be mostly seniors, as this used to be a retired living place. Everyone is friendly and we're looking forward to staying (just renewed our lease another year)! I was told when we first moved in that all kitchens would be upgraded to Stainless Steel, so that'll be nice! There were fire alarm issues but they have worked extensively to address that and fix the root cause so I think that is all over with now. I love living here!

I don't know where these reviewers live at, but this does not describe the 'Marque' in Gainesville. The first week we lived here we found out there fire alarm and sprinkler system was out of code and the Gainesville Fire and Public Safety department cited. They've had contractors raising hell in the ceiling attack space for over three months. The contractors are sorry....they don't give a damn about any residents, throwing heavy equipment around, stomping on the ceiling, and the owners and management just lie about it. I was told they would be finished by midApril and they're still stomping and banging. No peace.....no quite...I don't recommend this place at all! They are not an advocate for the residents. Bad place!
