One polar bear did nothing but pace back and forth as if it wanted to get out. The other one was in the water having the time of his/her life. Maybe its the enclosure. Overall this is a good place to take the family.

Took my teenage daughters. They were not ok with the idea at first but as we walked around the zoo. They started to enjoy themselves. Even learned something new. Glad we went!!!!.

The zoo was an excellent activity during the pandemic. The animals where very happy. And the baby chimpanzees are a must. Adorable!

Charming zoo. Bring a stroller! It's a long downhill walk from the main gate. You can get really close to the animals in so many cases. My 3-yo was just thrilled.

Last year for my daughter's birthday, we went to the Central Park Zoo in NYC. She enjoyed visiting the zoo so much she wanted to go to the one right here in her hometown, the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. I've been away from Baltimore for several years, and am glad to be retired and living here again. I know I'll visit the zoo often, so I became a member. We had a wonderful day at the Maryland zoo... great place to go during this season of social distancing.
