This is the first time in my life that a religious institution has had something I needed. I am so glad they were there for me and my family ... In fact each time I get close to this place, I get gifts!! Thanks!!

Warm and welcoming congregation. Loved the worship. I visited as part of a homework on a World's religions class and they were very helpful. His words: \Everyone is welcomed here\. Rabbi Alan, his wife Jane and the congregation were just wonderful! Thank you!

Rabbi Londy hosts a Saturday morning Tenakh Discussion Group that claims that all are welcome. Apparently this is true, unless you are the chosen of God! After going there once before and after Rabbi Londy's insistence that he, unlike most rabbis, does not go by institutional considerations but only by scripture, had given me a very long lecture, using his institutional role to do so and to convert seemingly everybody else there to his point of view, some of whom had originally sided with me, concerning my statement that upon the advice of a Catholic priest much of my completed Master's Degree coursework had been cleared out when I turned its completion entirely over to God (and Jesus), instead of trying to figure it out myself. He insisted that God did not do this kind of thing for people. And at the end of his soliloquy, that I was not really permitted to respond to, as it were, he had us turn from the psalm, that had said to trust not in man, but in God, to Jacob who was referenced by it. We immediately opened up to God telling Jacob that he would an Essence answer all of his prayers. The rabbi's response was to make me feel unwelcome there in a comment that while one of the members I was welcome to stay, we'd have to \see about\ some of the 'others.' Also it would be nice if there were a toaster for the bagels! Just kidding.) I emailed Rabbi Londu to meet and discuss soon after this had occurred, but he never got back to me.

Most welcoming congregation in the city. Not sure what is up with Hammy. A. It's a synagogue and not a church, and B. Well . . . There are way more white Jews than Black or Hispanic, that's just the demographics of the American Jewish populace. We have an African American woman who comes periodically on a Friday night and we have a immigrant from Somalia that comes. But we welcome everyone. I would encourage anyone who is curious about Judaism to start here. We would love to see you. We have Shabbat services on Friday night at 6 and bagels, coffee, and Torah study at 9 A.M. on Saturdays.

Extremely friendly and wonderful synagogue. Great for new comers and those looking for a temple close to home.
