The shop is wonderful, the woman working was incredibly helpful. It was so much fun to go in and taste all of their different oils and vinegars. The woman who ran the shop even blended oils and vinegars together for us to try and help us decide what to get. I came home and immediately cooked with my products. My meal was delightful, I cannot rave more about this little shop.

I needed a special gift for someone in my life who has everything. I had emailed Kristie at the Olive Tap and she helped me get my order together. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I just tasted one of the olive oils I bought myself and it is delicious (herbs de provence) I will be a lifelong customer now! Our company used The Olive Tap in Crystal Lake to provide custom-labeled gifts for one of our large commercial accounts. Our client was extremely particular. Kristy, (owner) worked so hard through lots of revisions to make sure we were all happy. If you haven't checked out the store, please do...They sell so much more than oils.
