As the owner/photographer of Kimberly Kimble Photography, I love shooting at The Opera House in Humboldt, TN! The venue is situated perfectly in the historic downtown area. Exposed brick and gorgeous lighting. The owner is so helpful and great to work with!

My brother and sister in law got married here. We helped with the set up and taking everything down. Getting in and locking up went smoothly and never had a problem. The event space was beautiful and unique compared to all the other venues around. The outdoor space is just as beautiful also.

This venue was so disappointing. We were looking forward to having my little sisters wedding reception here. We spent all morning decorating it. And then all our wedding guests show up and we are locked out of the building. We waiting nearly two hours calling the owners repeatedly with no answer. Finally a local coffee shop owner came over and picked the lock for us. When the owners finally heard about what happened all they said was “Sorry we were at home doing yard work” there was not a single employee at the venue. They even admitted to this same thing happening to an event the previous weekend. On top of that, they said they had emailed instructions to get into the building yet we never received an email. And we spoke with them on the phone previously and they never mentioned the doors would be locked or that no staff would be there. I believe this is a beautiful venue with poor management. No discount was offered for our time wasted.

I rented the Opera House for my 25th birthday photo shoot. I loved it. It was easy to access the building. Jocelyn stayed in contact with me. She texted me a very detailed message on how to access the building and how to find all the lights, etc.. I even had to reschedule and she did it without giving me a hard time or anything. The place is beautiful, clean and great for pictures.
