I stop in this shop about once every couple weeks and I am never disappointed. They are always quick to help, they stand behind their products, and the shop is always clean. The guys are great, they know their stuff, and you will never be without your bike for more than a day, so it seems. Every problem I have had, they were able to take care of in just a matter a minutes. It seems important to them that you are not bike-less. I live much closer to other bike shops, but this place is always worth the trip.

Last summer I bought a new bike from a different bike shop. They were unable to get it to operate right, and they even replaced it with another new bike that also did not shift properly! At that time I saw a coupon ad for The Pedal Bike Shop tune up and decided to give them a try. Their work is awesome, everything has worked perfectly for over a year. I just took my bike in to them last night for some upgrades and I am hoping to receive the same level of excellence in their bike repair craft. I have been in every bike shop in Tempe multiple times and I can tell you honestly this shop is superb. I was in this shop literally the second day it opened and probably once a week since. There are many reasons that I now prefer this shop but I will list a few. First and foremost is the knowledge of the staff. I have known many of them from past shops and there is a reason all of the talent is now at this LBS. Second would be that this shop is run like a proper business that cares about their customers. When I walk in I am always greeted with a smile and asked if I need any help, something you will find most shops are very poor at. I truly feel this shop is now part of my extended cycling family. Third is value of all services and most products. They offer very reasonable prices on services and the vast majority of products offered in the store are at or below normal retail prices. You never know what you will find on deep discount as well. I went in yesterday and got 2 continental gatorskin tires, 2 for one during a sale. I have been riding those for years and have never in my life seen a better deal. Thank you for deciding to open up this shop. It is a great addition to the Tempe cycling community.
My wife and I just purchased two bikes at this store today. We have been saving for quite a while and today was the big day. From start to finish this was hands down the best bike shop I have ever been to. Bryce started chatting with us when we walked in asking us questions to match us up with the bikes we wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the bikes we looked at. He listened to everything we said, and customized the bikes we chose to fit us perfectly. We left the shop with two awesome bikes within our budget, and had a great experience. If you are looking to buy a bike, this is the place to go.
This shop is amazing. If you're looking into buying a new bike, you should definitely drop in to check out this shop. They have a nice selection and the service was uncommonly excellent. YMMV
The shop set up my son with an awesome package. Gill hooked me up with great advice and a bike my son seems to love so far. I would recommend talking to the staff before you buy. They know what they are talking about.
Visiting from Midwest, rented a decent Raleigh road bike in good condition here. Good service and reasonable price. They set it up right, included a repair kit, etc. Not, take that beater over there and have a nice time.
Bike seat was stolen while I was a student studying at ASU. Went into this shop and was immediately greeted with friendly service. They had my pick out a seat and then went to work on fixing on a new seat, which only took a few minutes. Furthermore, they adjusted my brakes and fixed the chain on my girlfriend's bike for free! Definite recommend for anyone looking for a bike tune up or replacement parts.
