I was in town visiting family and decided to book this studio for a shoot. First off the staff is great. Lorie showed me around and gave an excellent tour of the building. Even helped me get some things started with my camera seeing that I've never shot using studio light. Tons of props to use, so there are plenty of opportunities for versatility within your photos. I had a great time there and my model enjoyed it as well. I'll definitely be booking them again next I'm in Wilmington!

I drove from Charleston, SC to attend Jeff & Lori's seminar on lighting. The Shoot Space itself is incredible from the aesthetic to the vibe. As presenters, teachers and speakers, Lori and Jeff are tough to beat. Lori puts everything in just the right order and flow, and Jeff presents things in creative ways until you understand them. They show you and in addition tell you the "why" behind it. Everything they do is excellent. They even created a lighting book I'm sure I'll be referencing for a long time to come. The pacing was really good. Jeff is amazingly patient, and great with hands on camera work. Both Jeff and Lori were able to quickly deliver easy to follow answers on just about any photography subject, even the business side of things. I'm pretty fussy and hard to impress, and I rarely make the time to do special reviews. These wonderful photographic artists and teachers deserve it for bringing The Shoot Space, and its community concept to life.
