We had the same experience as the last review. Just one excuse after another. We never did get our order delivered. We tried to pick up our order at the store with no success. We have patronized this business since it opened. We started noticing about a year ago her supple of items dropped dramatically. We really enjoyed shopping here in the beginning. We are now shopping at the spice shop on western. They are a little pricey, but always have a good supply of everything. I like shopping local, but can't deal with the frustration and all her excuses.

Clear back in the beginning of September (it’s December 12th now) I went here to buy spices to refill some that were low at home. I also ordered a bottle of Garlic Parmesan Olive oil that was out of stock but the owner told me should would mail it. Well I waited and waited and it never showed up. My wife called the store and she said she shipped it but she would contact UPS and track it down or re-mail it. Again nothing, so my wife stopped by the store around the end of October and asked the owner what the deal was, she apologized but once it again it was out of stock, so she said she would have her husband bring it to me at my work because he just happened to work at the same place. She took both of our numbers and said she would contact us once it’s in and set up a time for her husband and I to meet. Well again, nothing! My wife went AGAIN to the store and this time she said her husband has it in his office and that he will deliver it to me after his meeting at 1pm that same day. She also gave my wife his phone number so that I could set this up with him. She also said since we have waited so long (pushing 3 months) that she will reimburse the money and I will get the oil for free. Guess what, no money and no oil STILL! The phone number that she claimed was her husbands never answers and I have called like 20 times. I have also been calling the store and she won’t answer! We are close to 3.5 months now and we are still playing games over a bottle of oil. I tried being nice but it’s past time to let everyone else know how many lies we have been told! Sucks because I really liked her products and she seemed over the top nice in person. Beware of doing business at The Spice Rack in Yukon. And yes I still want my oil and my refund! Lol

Love the quality and the selection when items are in stock. Beware when offered delivery or notification when items are available. In May I was in store and what I wanted was out of stock. I was told she would get it ready and I would have my item delivered by 3pm the same day. The next day I messaged asking about it, heard a few excuses, then no response. The second day I was getting annoyed with the lack of response and requested a refund. My item was finally delivered the end of the second day. No apology whatsoever. Waited two months before returning to the store on a Friday. I was looking to buy loose leaf tea. She was out of all teas saying the delivery was late but she would have teas possibly Saturday, definitely Monday. Stopped by four times the early part of the following week, each time I was told it would be ready in the afternoon or the next day, and still no tea. All kinds of excuses and offered to get the ones I was interest in ready and deliver (no thanks) or text when it was ready for pick up. It’s been almost 3 days and still no text. I really want to support local, women owned, small businesses but with this kind of service I’m going to have to look elsewhere.
Charming place and the owner is very helpful in suggesting ways to use the spices and assisting with product selections. When you walk in, be prepared for the most tantalizing, delicious aromas! I am a huge fan of the flavored cooking oils. They have a great taste and really amplify meals! I recommend the Parmesan Garlic Olive Oil. I use it in all my Italian dishes. The best thing is she has samples of almost all her products available for you to try! And, she also ships!
