This place is perfect for those times when you need \just a little bit of this\ and \just a little bit of that\. I was expecting to walk in to buy a whole bottle of file powder but ended up walking out with half an ounce of what I needed. The woman behind the counter was extremely helpful because she knew exactly what I was doing with that file powder (gumbo) and the recipe I was going off of didnt specify how much I needed. She mentioned they make their own spice blends so I'm tempted to go back in there to see what I can bring home to cook with.
