I had an appointment to tour a 3 bedroom at the Station at Potomac, 1st- there leasing office is located 7 min away which is fine but it would have been nice to have been told that on the phone, I show up to the leasing office and they had me down to view a 2 bedroom in a completely different complex. (I wanted a 3). Basically the whole trip was a waste of time, the leasing office consultant acted like my husband and I were bothering her asking questions. I asked her to tell me about the apartment complex she had 2 bedrooms available in and she couldn’t even tell me the floor plan, how many bathrooms etc. This hands down has been a complete waste of time and so unprofessional.

The location is why I rated this property with 4 stars. The apartments units are very spacious, clean, and peaceful for the most part. There is also free garage parking which is a PLUS! However, we do have some concerns which I have addressed with the Management who is unresponsive. My husband has decided to write Housing, The Mayor, and HUD for a response. Overall, this place is doable for short term living. Good luck!

This is an excellent apartment in a brand new building. Walking distance from everything you need including a grocery store a block over. Everything you could ask for in an apartment. I would give this apartment four stars or more, but for the management company. Without naming names, I have been dealt with very unprofessionally. Viewing the apartment at first took time, and was delayed for personal excuses which I freely forgave. I was told an apartment to my requirements would be ready in mid-August. I filled out the required paperwork and drove a long time out of my way to an appointment to drop off the application and holding fee. There was no one there and no response at any posted numbers. The following day I got an email from a different response to come in and turn in the paperwork, citing another excuse by the original agent. I dropped off the paperwork and was told to expect a response the following Monday. It has been more than two weeks, and after numerous calls and emails I have still heard nothing. It’s very bad business to be so unresponsive, especially with someone as willing as I am to give you money.

WHERES THE LEASING OFFICE???? Beautiful building but I could not find the leasing office, they never answer their phone calls or call back. The address listed on the website and the building for the leasing office is not where they are or at least there is no indication at an apartment building on 8 W Nelson Ave as to where their leasing office is. A local told me that they had moved to another building but they were no where to be found there either. I was severely interested in renting at this property but if I cant find the leasing office, how could I know they are reliable for taking care of maintenance while I was a renter??

I disagree with this comments , I have been living at The station at Potomac Yard for over a year now and since my move in date everything has being great, the rental office team Linda , Dawn and Yasmin are always welcoming and they help me with everything that I need , they treat me like a family. I love this apartment community, the location is amazing. Thank you guys, keep up the hard work! :)
