Never a problem because I have never been able to use them. I went in three times to ship packages and had three different reasons why I could not. 1.) They are a retail store 2.) They must pack your items 3.) They could not print the items I needed because their printers were broken. A great place if you need to get out of the rain or bad weather, providing they are open.

Because of COVID, I have been doing more online shopping than usual and with this has come more returns. I try to avoid this location for drop offs as the middle-aged man behind the counter WILL NOT give you a receipt for your drop offs. I went before Christmas and dropped off a couple return packages. I asked for a receipt. There was no one in the store. He reluctantly gave me a receipt but warned me when business picks up around the holidays, he will not be giving out receipts. He said you can just follow your return online with the tracking number. On MLK, my husband dropped off some returns. My husband asked for a receipt. Guess what? The same man said he wasn't going to give him a receipt and that he could track it online with the label. A few days later, I saw that one of the boxes he had dropped was not showing that it had been dropped off/scanned in! It was missing. I called up to the store and was told 'Sean' would call me back. Never did. After a huge hassle -that lasted three weeks -and several customer service calls to the return company, I finally got my return refunded by that company. This could easily have been avoided if I only had a receipt that proved that this item had been dropped off. If the item is not scanned by the UPS store, what proof do I have that it was ever dropped off?!? A tracking number is useless, if this UPS store is not doing THEIR job. So FRUSTRATING. I am not sure why this is such a BIG DEAL to give someone a receipt for a drop off. Is it costing the store money to print it out? My advice - if you have a drop off that you need to know is delivered, try the Kirkwood (Argonne), Warson Woods, or Crestwood UPS store instead, where they happily provide you with a receipt.

Sean/Shawn took our package at 10:30AM but it did not get scanned into the system until almost 7PM that night. We paid 147 for overnight shipping and UPS Des Peres had a 8 hour window between when the package was given to them and when it was actually scanned in... and now the package will not be arriving on time. After being tossed around between 6 different corporate numbers for over 2 hours, all of which had no idea what happened, I was told to call Des Peres UPS and tell them they need to call UPS Corporate - to be clear .... UPS told me the solution was to call Des Peres.. and tell UPS to call UPS. ??? UPS Des Peres told me when I called that they all of a sudden have more info about the package that no one else can see - and it got picked up on time so nothing was done wrong. None of the 6 reps or the supervisor I spoke with could tell me that but for some reason the rep at my local store can? I understand the delivery time is never guaranteed, however, if the package didn't sit for 8 hours maybe it would have shown up on time? Idk maybe. Just save your energy and go to FedEx. This has been a massive waste of time and money.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Extremely rude service from the man at the counter. Very cold and unfriendly- no idea how he got into a customer service role. Also- they charge fees to put a piece of tape on your Amazon returns- never heard of this fee after patronizing many UPS’s in multiple states.
