Although I personally dont belive you need to embalm a body thats only going to be viewed for a few hours and then put in the ground,(because the body is supposed to decay,right?), the service is alwas wonderful,(and respectful at that), Travis and Kelly were personaly my favorites, they were true gentlemen.

We lost our 16 year old son to suicide on 5/14/19. We live in Greer, but the only reason we used Wood Mortuary was because of a recommendation from a family member. They went above and beyond to help lessen the blow of losing, not just a loved one, but our child. They were compassionate, professional, and easy to deal with. We had to come in several times for our own personal reasons during that difficult time, and each time we spoke to someone in the home, they were more than accommodating and willing to help any way they could. I highly recommend Wood Mortuary and want to publicly thank them for everything.
