I've had New Power for a few months now. I haven't had any issues. Everything was explained to me when I signed up, even compared my previous provider with their prices.
horrific billing department. NPT will hold your check for up to 2 weeks before applying to the balance due and then ding you with a late fee while they are still \processing\ your check. I would rather pay a cent or two more per watt than deal with this company. Customer Service employees are nearly useless and have no authority to do anything.
Rates are above and beyond. Almost a year in with New Power and I am happy to have never overpaid for my electricity!
Paid a deposit of 225 and since Covid started Ive struggled but paid my bill. They told me I was delinquent 4 times and for that I lost my deposit. That is just theft. Cant understand the reps in English or spanish. When I terminated my contract I told them no autopayment for the last bill and they did it anyways. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
