Cedar Creek Cove is a little slice of heaven. Even if you don’t fish or boat, there are activities to keep you as busy as you choose. In addition to hiking the woods and back roads, there is a game room with pool, ping pong, and foosball. I never tired of relaxing on the deck of my well appointed and fully furnished cabin! During the day I could gaze at the lake and at night the stars were beautiful. The lake! Bull Shoals is gorgeous and in July, when I was there, the water was perfect for swimming. The owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I should mention they are HUGE Cub fans! Thank you Gail and Ron for all the work you do to keep Cedar Creek Cove a lovely place to visit. I’m eager to return.

My family and I just returned from a week long stay at Cedar Creek Cove Resort. This is our second time at this resort with our previous stay a few years ago. My wife and I decided this is the cleanest resort from the dozen or so we have stayed at on Bull Shoals Lake over the years. It is well kept and the owners are amazingly hospitable. The cabins are large, well laid out and the price very affordable. The boat dock is currently very close due to the high water this year, but it is only increasing the great view from the cabins. They have enclosed their center pavilion and put in a/c with a small kitchen for parties, along with billiards table, foosball, ping pong table and game center making it a perfect kid/teen hangout. Next to the pavilion they have a new and cool playground my younger kids really enjoyed. The office store sells bag ice and ice creams and a few other items. All together this is the perfect resort on the lake for my family and we have already booked a return trip!
We had a fabulous time. Planned on staying 3 nights and ended up staying 7 nights. So peaceful. Ron & Gale are the sweetest people ever! Our cabin was very nice. Set up with everything you would need to cook from home. We will be back!
Cedar Creek Cove is a little piece of heaven! We come at least once a year, and wish we could make it even more. The cabins and grounds are well kept and always getting better. We love drinking coffee in the morning on the cabin deck and just listening to the sounds of the trees and the lake. The kids and adults both love fishing and swimming off the dock in the sun (or in the rain!), and have the best times boating on the lake. Ron, Gail and Jill are the best, and we can't wait to go back!!
This is our favorite place to stay at Bull Shoals Lake. Walking distance to the dock and swimming area, secluded area of the lake yet an easy drive to Theodosia. Cabins are large enough to not feel cramped yet spaced far enough apart to feel private. Wonderful hosts!

Our family and friends have been coming to Cedar Creek Resort for several years. The cabins are always clean and the owners are always improving the resort. After Christmas our grandkids start getting excited about going to the lake. They love it here. They love to invite their friends and show them how wonderful of a time it is. Our grandson graduated high school last year and brought several of his friends for his senior trip. It was Grandpa and the boys. They had a BLAST. After they got home they were asking when can we go back. It feels like coming home when we get there. And all our troubles just fade away.
Ron and Gail are great hosts and we love their location on the lake, as well as having dock area for boat and cleaning fish. If something isn’t right they fix the situation immediately. Really good people.
