Excellent attorney! Mr. Bolling went above and beyond as my defense attorney and I can't thank him enough.. I recommend Thomas Bolling to anyone in need of his services; without a doubt he is the best attorney in the Marshall area. If it were possible to give him more than five stars I would definitely do just that. I recently hired this so called attorney for minor infractions, I was hesitant because he has Nothing but Bad reviews. I visited him in his office to discuss the case and he wasn't very knowledgeable and very disrespectful. I left and decided he wasn't the lawyer for me. I called around and spoke with other attorneys and most never answered and the one that I did speak with (Anne Moody) was very helpful and 250.00 higher. I tried to save 250 and went with shaky hand tom. BIG MISTAKE 9/2/18 I have court and went to his office to give him attorney fee. After paying him, we head over to the Court house. He says Oh Mike you have on shorts and the judge doesn't like that. I said tom, I spoke with you yesterday on the phone and you never once mentioned it! He said he can't think of everything. I asked him how long has he been dealing with the judge that doesn't like defendants in shorts? He said 20 years.(I rest my case) Then he said he ASSUMED I wouldn't wear them and I have an attitude. I politely told him to refund my money because he's ineffective and clearly incompetent. He replied I already filed a motion, I replied doesnt matter, because that motion wasn't 750.00. My next step is getting remainder back and finding a competent SOBER lawyer. Your next step should be, read these reviews and take them seriously, he has one star ratings because he's a one star person & lawyer. YOU'LL BE ORRY YOU EVER MET THIS Alcoholic joke. RUN,RUN,RUN!

The guy really is an insurance settlement attorney, with very little interest in the clients overall personal business. Just 33% and run kind of mentality. Just my opinion off of 2 meetings.

I retained Tom to represent me on a civil matter. I met with him once in his office to go over details, and gather a game plan. The first court date was continued, but I found that piece of information out through the clerk. I attempted to make contact with mr. Bolling to no avail. He finally contacted me the day before my next court date to tell me to meet him in his office before court. However, the next morning, once again, I was contacted through the court that it was continued again. Ok, so at this point, I'm seriously reconsidering my decision to hire Tom. I was given another court date with no instructions on if I needed to meet with him, or anything about what was the plan was for defense. The worse is yet to come, the day before, I contacted the office. The receptionist had no idea about the court date, and proceeded to inform me that Mr. Bolling was in the hospital with the flu, and was probably not going to be able to make it to court. Mr. Bolling finally contacted me the morning of court and said I should go to court and explain to the judge the circumstances, and that he would probably give me another continuance. I was at my wit's end at this point and truly couldn't believe what was happening. The outcome of this court appearance could possibly change my life as I knew it. I went to court without a net, and by the grace of God the case was dismissed. I contacted the office to let them know what had happened and that I expected a refund of a percentage of my retainer which I thought was not unreasonable. I contacted the office through phone, and email on multiple occasions, but they never called back or responded to my emails. Bottom line is that everything from start to finish was handled very unprofessional. I felt like I was just good fory money, anf nothing else. I would not recommend this attorney to my worse enemy

Absolutely the worst lawyer in the aera. I have went to Bolling’s office on two different cases. With the first one Mr. Bolling and his staff had no idea who I was and had no file for my case when we showed up to court after having a 1 hour consolation with him a week prior to the court date. I decided to change lawyers right away. In most recent case I received two traffic violations and decided to go back to Bolling’s office. It took over one year to get them settled due to Bolling getting extension after extension for no reason. In one instance his office staff provided me with the wrong court date so it appeared as if I was failing to appear. Towards the end of this case I had paid Mr Bolling all the monies in which were owed as I was going to be out of town for a trip during the court date and he had said the case will be taken care of and there was no need for me to show up. I came back from my trip with a warrant for my arrest because he didn’t take care of it and failed to appear. I was ready to settle the case in December but it took a year and a half for his office to fix things and I ended up having to pay double the court fees and cost because he had claimed their was no recipets for my transactions. In addition he admitted the fault that my file was missing payment information and continued to make me pay twice.
