Jennifer gave me the grand tour of the apartment homes and I was surprised to see how safe the community is! I would definitely consider Atria Hillcrest for my loved ones!

Absolutely horrible experience. This company financially exploits their residents and the rent increases every year. You’d think that if you’re spending so much money the residents would get proper care but instead they don’t hire or retain enough caregivers. The caregivers are mistreated by the managers and not paid a living wage, so as a result, many caregivers quit. As a result, this facility is constantly short staffed, and as a result, the residents get neglected. The facility administrator, Sarah Dodd, is uneducated, ignorant and rude. Lots of staff have quit because of her behavior. There are better and cheaper facilities in the area if you care about your loved ones and don’t want to experience what my family had to go through.

Staff here have always gone the extra mile for me and mine. Do they get paid enough? If they're not making a MILLION DOLLARS than absolutely not. They are the heart and soul of Atria and I am so so grateful for you all! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you for loving my family like your own.

What can I say besides I am so disappointed that I had to move my mom out of here after one horrible experience after another. This place is so understaffed and the staff that is there just can't do what they are supposed to do because far too much is expected of them. They lure you in with grounds and rooms that are very attractive and the food is excellent as well. Wish they'd spend more time on care and less on surroundings. Do not believe what you are told by the sales staff and directors as they just want to make money for the corporation and don't care about the residents or staff. Please steer clear of this facility so you and your elderly relatives don't have to experience all that we had to go through!!!
