Went into the store as we didn't really know what our options were. They explained everything to us and how much each option would cost. When we decided what we wanted they set up the installation. I was very surprised when they called around to see if any of their installers had openings and we got it installed the very next day! Installer was excellent... very nice and went over and above to make sure everything was cleaned up. He even walked us through how it all worked and safety checks. If I'm in the market again for fireplace work I will definitely be back.

Update #2 as promised to Conejo Valley Fireside: Sept. 26, 2020 we received our FOURTH call regarding Conejo Valley Fireside wanting us to edit our review. The other dates were 9/3, 9/9, 9/23, which was a voicemail, & the newest 9/26/2020. The review was edited two weeks ago for them. The wording is correct in the original review. Fireside is a quality showroom, they do not manufacture the items they sell. We order from them, & they order from their distributors. We wanted to shop local, we all hope they will be here for another 30 years. ------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Sept. 3. 2020 We received a phone call from Ari from Fireside requesting we remove the below review, 1 hour before Greg from Firemagic was to bring us, & install, a non-defective grill. We told Ari we would edit this review which was already planned. Three months plus, after Summer is over, we have a grill. The upgraded star belongs to Gary from Firemagic. ------------------------------------- May 26, 2020 we ordered & paid in full for a Fire Magic charcoal grill & cover. June 15, 2020 a grill & cover was delivered & installed 4 inches crooked. Many calls & visits to the Conejo Valley store, where we purchased the items, finally had the installer come out July 14th. We were sold a defective grill. Happy August & we are still without a working grill. Not the best customer service. Shawn at Conejo Valley was VERY nice & worked with us, but he had to refer to another store to get any answers for us.

I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but this was not a good experience. I was looking for a very specific part and knew what I wanted after shopping multiple places. I called, and the guy told me there is no such thing. After describing it, he said just come look for yourself. I was surprised, but figured bad day oh well. I stopped by, and he was helping another customer. Long story short, he was very rude to the other customer and that guy left annoyed. He then helped me and was just as rude in person as he was on the phone. He didn't seem to care, and told me to shop elsewhere. For a small business he seemed he made plenty of money and didn't care.

Sean provided us with excellent service and great prices. As my 1st time doing a project of a bbq island and fire pit, I had a lot of questions. He answered all of my questions and also went above and beyond to make sure I walked out of there knowing exactly how everything worked and how it should be installed. I will definitely be returning for any future purchases.
