We love Good German food, and they have done of the best! Their Red Cabbage was top notch... way better than most places, which usually make it way too sweet. The sauerbraten was tender and delicious. You can tell it was properly marinated and cooked slowly compared to places that just cook beef roast and think they can fool us just by smothering it in gravy. We will return for sure.

This is the second time we've been here while staying for a long weekend in Eagle River. We really enjoy the breakfast menu on the weekend! The staffing seems a little light as the service was a little slow for our family with young kids, but it's certainly not for lack of effort on the wait staffs' part. The breakfast food is hearty and there's a good deal of variety without the menu being overwhelmingly large. The German-themed potatoes are excellent! We'll certainly be back again with family!

Dine occasionally when in TL; always enjoy their German specialities and they do a nice fish fry as well. However, last time I stopped in I tried one of their specials for the night - duck confit; the dish was amazing. As a foodie who frequents fine dining restaurants in major metro areas whenever I can - this dish could stand up with the best of the meals I have had elsewhere....also, always great atmosphere and friendly service

I had dinner at the Black Forest Pub not realizing the restaurant was hosting a girls' night out multi-vendor in the back. Both the bartender and my server were welcoming and friendly. My meal was fantastic, and the busy kitchen kept it all going, despite the special event. I loved the handsome dining room!
